How to use?
DCM Seaweed lime may be used until just before sowing or planting. DCM Seaweed Lime can be used all year round in humid weather. The more humid the weather conditions, the faster the deacidification.
Where to apply?
Lawn: moss gives an indication of the acidity of the soil
Ornamental garden:
- Frequent or regular liming: lime-loving plants, such as boxwood, yew and lavender
- Normal dose of lime: pH-neutral plants
- No lime: acid-loving plants
Lime-loving plants that have been in the same pot for years.
Vegetables, herbs and fruits:
- Frequent or regular liming: cabbage and leaf crops
- Normal dose of lime: root and fruit crops, herbs and legumes
- No lime: potatoes and berries.
Speed up the composting process.
In ponds for accelerated sludge degradation.
Dose:
Annual maintenance liming: 0.8 - 1.2 kg/10m²
Remedial liming on acidic soils
Autumn: 2 kg/10 m²
Spring: 1.5 kg/10 m²
Compost heap: 0.5-1 kg/m3
Maintenance liming for potted plants: 2.5 g/l potting soil
