Recognizing potassium deficiency in plants:
The characteristics of a (much) too low potassium level are often very clear. The leaves of the plants acquire a brown edge and will curl upwards. They will also start to yellow. With fruits you can recognize potassium deficiency because they do not get a nice color. With tomatoes, these do not turn beautifully red. The fruits also feel softer and have a less good taste. When fruits rot quickly during storage, this can also indicate a lack of potassium.
