Ready-to-use tincture of beard moss for racing pigeons

TrichomonadsThe control of trichomonads is central to the performance capacity of the homing pigeon. Outside the racing season, only as few medicines as possible can be used to promote the natural resistance of the animals. Here the regular administration of the natural product Usnea barbata from beard moss proves its value. Usnea barbata 2 x per week or every 5-6 weeks for 5-7 days administration, has an excellent preventive effect. This way you achieve a natural protection, without the animals being resistant.Dogmilkers who have problems with their young animals can also administer Usnea barbata for longer periods.

Lichens produce a series of secondary metabolic products that act as antioxidants and lead to activation of the immune system. They have a very defense-enhancing effect and regulate the function of the organs.

A 5-7 day treatment with ronidazole BT (10%) is recommended immediately prior to the flight, to start the season absolutely sure and without trichomonads.

During the racing season, however, we do not recommend administering ronidazole, as this may have an inhibitory effect on the shape. We have the best experience with Dr. Erdösz produced Metro, which is sprayed directly into the crop in a 2: 8 dilution for each animal. With this very active and tolerant combination of active substances your animals are free of trichomonads after a few minutes and you will not lose any time with regard to the regeneration phase.
