We recommend using the slicker mainly when changing the coat, if there is a lot of loose coat that needs to be removed. We recommend using a regular pin brush for daily brushing, as this is much more enjoyable for both you and your pet. With a slicker is often pulled on the coat, so that too many hairs are pulled out of the coat and your pet does not like this. The slicker is nevertheless a much sought after brush.
